What does it mean? The KiCad 9 error?
In version 8, the Mounting_Hole symbol is displayed normally, but in version 9 it is crossed out.

Thanks for the reply.

Used the latest release candidate for the first time and had this on a simple design I was working on. So while I understand the reason for marking items not in simulation, can it maybe only be shown if you actually have a project set up for simulation? Most of my simulations I still do in LTSpice, and honestly have never tried to do a simulation within KiCAD. I guess at least we can disable this feature.
I prefer the KiCad simulation over LTSpice because the UI is so much better. The only problem are models. LTSpice ships with so many spice models and KiCad has barely any
