Allow multi-select (Eeschema) to find groups of components (Pcbnew)

If I ‘click’ one symbol in Eeschema, it is automaticaly highlighted in Pcbnew.

It often occurs that a schematic layout has some ‘topgraphical’ similarity with a pcb.

Therefore I would value the ability to select a group in Eeschema (maybe drag selection with RMB) for this purpose: The group would not then move with the mouse!

Example: An SMPS chip MC1623 + associated components.
(1) Select all SMPS in Eeschema
(2) All these are now selected in Pcbnew also

Thank you for mentioning this GitLab ticket - yes, it is the same issue.
