After moving component to back it disappears

Kicad 5.2.2 (Windows 10)

I am using a test point pad from the Kicad library and I need to place them on the bottom of the PCB, for PoGo pins. I select Move for a test point and then enter “F”. The pad appears to change to the Bottom layer (it is green), however, when I select another component the one I moved to the bottom disappears. There appears to be no way to get it visible again.

If I open the 3D viewer I see the pad on the bottom layer.

Is this a known issue or how can I resolve it?

Check the visibility options on the right side. Both for layers and items.

Top and bottom layers are visible, I see all my traces perfectly,

footprint features visibility can be controlled separately. Switch the layers sidebar to item mode and check there.
