I’ve attached an archive of a project I’m working on. When I export this project as a 3D model in STEP format, the corner curves show extra segments. This creates problems when I design a case for the board in Autodesk Fusion. As shown in the attached image, the board projection in Fusion includes extra lines on some corners. Why is this happening? I’ve only seen this issue in version 8. More importantly, how can I fix it?
1 What options do you use when exporting to step? There are quite a lot of settings… 2 Did you check the DRC before exporting?As far as I can see, your custom graphics layer intersects with the mechanical layer.
Here are my export settings. Yes I checked the DRC before exporting. I wasn’t aware that the custom graphics layer gets exported in the STEP too. I removed everything from there and re-exported the STEP. I still see the additional lines in the model.
How long is that extra short line?
