Is there a way to import a v5 schematic page into a v6 project? I have a filter generator that synthesizes multiple-feedback Rauch/Bessel filters, and outputs a .sch file. I can’t find a way to include the output in a 6.0 project, and there’s no tool that I can see to convert it to a v6 file. In the long term I’ll need to convert the synthesizer to output the new file format, but this isn’t entirely trivial - and in the meantime it would be useful to be able to at least use the synthesizer. (Actually, I was planning to convert it to a schematic plugin, but now that the plugin support has been dropped in v6 I’ll update the file format.) Am I missing something here?
First open Eeschema in “standalone” mode.
You do this by opening it directly from your operating system, not from the project manager.
Then there is an “open” menu entry in the File menu and you can open an older version schematic.
