I added a new package (Maxim_WLP-35) to BGA_packages via the kicad-packages3D-generator
It appears to generate the package correctly, and opens in FreeCAD just fine, but when attempting to add it to a footprint in KiCAD, KiCAD crashes. I generated and tried adding Maxim_WLP-12 (an already existing package) and it causes the same crash. I also tested this on the QFN_packages:D_0603 and it also results in the same crash. Any ideas on how to debug this or get some sort of stacktrace/error log on what is causing the crash? It appears to be specific to step files generated by the kicad-packages3D-generator (i.e. other step files look fine and wrl files generated have transparent bodies, but don’t crash kicad).
