Hello!
I noticed something odd with copper fills. Or maybe I’m missing something.
When I choose the “add fill zone”, I get the following panel by default. 2 layers are selected: the one I’m using, and the bottom layer. What’s the reason? I would understand if nothing is selected, or the current layer only, but why 2 layers?
Looks like something that should be reported. Just speculating . . . . the developers may want to know if the multiple selections only show up when there are more than two layers.
I don’t recall those check-boxes in the “Layer” list on version 4.0.x. Were they added for version 5.x? Does the layer name still get highlighted if you click on it?
I have tried to check 2 layers for the same zone in a 4 layer pcb without success in order to reproduce your case. No way to do it on purpose.
My version is v5.1.0 under kubuntu 14.04
Hello!
Thanks for your replies. This morning, I made the following experiment: copy the whole project folder, open the project, erase the copper filling definitions and redo them. The problem didn’t happen.
Version 5.1 on Windows 10.
Edit: I just tried with layer 2 selected to be in the same conditions. But the problem again didn’t happen.
