hello,
This is a bug with Kicad-v6.04,not Kicad-v6.02.
Open a project with KiCAD6.04, use “tools” → “Edit symbol fields Tables” to edit any fields such as value or package. Then click “OK” to save the project and close the software. Restart the project and open “Edit symbol fields Tables”, some “Values” and “Packages” appear empty. Click “OK”, then these symbols in the schematic will be reset to empty。
This affects only schematics with subsheets (bad enough).
The issue was reported on gitlab with number #11194 and should be closed already in the currently development-version (v6.99). Maybe the current stable-version (6.0.x) gets a fix with next subversion-release.
I have a very similar issue here, the table shows empty fields, but the fields are filled (footprint, and various other fields).
Closing the table, editing a field (for example footprint field) then going back to table shows again the missing values…
The bug seems to trigger randomly.
Old schematics with subsheets too.
