I needed a good 1000+ Amp current sensor so this weekend I spent a couple of hours in kicad to make it happen. Since its a simple board it seemed reasonable to get the process into a video.
Don’t expect a comprehensive video, its just taking a look of what it takes to make a board, including the boring parts of selecting a component and copying schematics and models from old projects. And its not complete, I didn’t run the DRC or fill the BOM.
The video sweeps though almost 3 hours of usage. If its too fast you can slow it down in the youtube player. The BOM and DRC would take another hour, but I need to check the product plan before signing off the details for production.
