Yeah, the blog post has non-working links (at least for Windows). But the Windows files are available in Downloads | KiCad EDA.

If don’t download from a mirror site, the number of connections will increase and you may not be able to download for a long time.

At this point, it appears that MIT and Tsinghua have completed mirroring.(About the Windows version)
