OSDN 64 bit: Download proceeds at TTY speed
CERN 64 bit: Gives a ‘NoSuchKey’ error.
Futureware 64 bit: File not found
Maybe it’s something local?
I just tried the OSDN mirror on:
And Firefox eagerly downloaded it with 2.8MB/s, which is a normal speed for my internet connection.
I did stop it after about 100MB because I’m running Linux myself.
Nah I was lazily juggling packages today and broke things while procrastinating studying. (Fixed now)
OSDN on the other hand has removed all US mirrors and is East Asia only, so yea its slow.
Got it and thanks for fixing the links.
Would be nice to establish a mirror for the Americas at some point…
but I understand your resources only go so far anyway.
Do you have a read on if this is permanent or temporary? I just looked around the osdn.net website and I didn’t see any notifications of shutting down the US mirrors, and the mirror list seems to indicate several US mirrors. The parent company is based out of Japan, so I don’t think the sour US vs China trade relations should affect things, but I’m also not a politician…
OSDN has been waning for some time and they’ve been losing mirrors over the last 2 years. Their own content is heavily out of date so I wouldn’t trust a “mirror list” page.
