3D Viewer not working after upgrade (solved)

Machine: Win10 64 bit.
Graphics: GTX950 with OpenGL 4.6

Upgraded KiCAD from 5.1.2? to 5.1.6

After the upgrade, the 3D viewer window does not even show up, only as a white miniature in Windows!

(I have restarted my computer after the upgrade)

Any clues?

Have you tried the different graphics toolsets ie F9, F11 and F12

You could try renaming %appdata%/kicad settings folder and starting from scratch. If it works, we can narrow down the possibilities.
