Hello there,
I am quite new to KiCAD and creating any sort of pcb schematics.
As i had no problems creating schematics and adding footprints, I was wondering if there was something wrong with my installation or if i did not get it correctly.
I want to have a 3d view of my pcb, but i had to notice that e.g. CONN_4 does not have a 3d view (well, ok, it does show the pads).
The pins themselfs are missing.
Is this correct behavior or a wrong installation?
Aren’t those pins standard items?
- I had to create a new part, cause i was unable to find it online:
dual row female header, 2x30 pins, 1,27mm pitch
Now i don’t have a 3d view of it. I do know i can create one on my own, but i think these standard parts must have been created a while ago … .
Any help would be appreciated!
