3D models height and length

A common question i get for my KiCad projects is about the height of the circuit board and its components. Is there a way to put the size of 3d elements from PCB in 3d view? Is there a way to edit heights using only KiCad or I have to use another tool? What tool usually people use?

I am using KiCad version 5.1.5+

This is from V5.1.12 as I write from Win7.
I’d suggest to move to KiCad V 6.0.7.
