3D model not showing up

Hello,

I have been scratching my head for a bit. I am trying to include a 3D model to an inductor. Sometime ago I was trying to get this to work on kicad 6 but could not get it to work. So today I updated to version 8 and opened up my project that has the inductor and I remembered the issue again. So seems this happens also in version 8, specifically:

Build settings:

So the part is SRP1038A-330M, you can find this in digikey and you are able to download the step file.

I can open the part in example solidworks, I have checked its origin is β€œat” 0 and the weird thing is that it does show up in the 3D model selection window, but as you hit ok, it wont show up to the window where you would orient and offset it. So it looks like the origin would be way off but its not.

I am pretty puzzled with this one, anyone have any suggestions what to try?

This part is nowhere near the origin as far as I can see from Solidworks . . .

Try these numbers . . .

This one is better but not 100% lined up correctly . . .

SRP 1038A series.STEP (529.8 KB)

Well this is embarrassing, I even opened it in solid works and moved it to XYZ 0… I must of incorrectly saved and never updated the original file.

Thank you sir for the help
