3d board viewer not working because of OpenGL issues

Hi,

After fresh windows 10 and kicad 6.0 installs, I can’t see the boards in 3d viewer. It says minimum Opengl required is 1.5 however my detection tool says I have 2.1.0.
The previous system I had, on the same computer, was win10/32 and kicad 5.1. The 3d viewer was running correctly.

My Kicad info:
Application: KiCad PCB Editor (64-bit)

Version: (6.0.0), release build

Libraries:
wxWidgets 3.1.5
libcurl/7.78.0-DEV Schannel zlib/1.2.11

Platform: Windows 10 (build 19043), 64-bit edition, 64 bit, Little endian, wxMSW

Build Info:
Date: Dec 24 2021 19:17:02
wxWidgets: 3.1.5 (wchar_t,wx containers)
Boost: 1.76.0
OCC: 7.5.0
Curl: 7.78.0-DEV
ngspice: 35
Compiler: Visual C++ 1929 without C++ ABI

Build settings:
KICAD_USE_OCC=ON
KICAD_SPICE=ON

This is probably an issue with the graphics hw/drivers. The first thing to try is to find out if the drivers are up to date. If that doesn’t help, give your hw/driver specs.

I have a Dell Latitude E6410 with integrated HD graphics.
Windows and video drivers are up to date (as system says)
The driver details:
Intel HD Graphics
1/12/2011
V: 8.15.10.2281

Well I read that topic but I didn’t understand what is the accepted, working proposal.
I have the most recent available driver and 2.1.0 OpenGL. Still can’t use hardware acceleration and, more important for me, 3d viewer.

I also have a Dell E6410, an oldie but good laptop. All of Kicad works great except for the 3d viewer in PCBNew. I finally got it fixed after watching the following video on youtube

Made the fix for Kicad executable and now 3d viewer shows board correctly. (Previously was blank screen).
Using Kicad 6.0 on Windows 10 2004.
