I am a physicist with a strong electronics background. Although I am 80 years old I am not retired. I work as a consultant on rf linear accelerator systems and design and build custom electronics for them. I need to resurrect an old PC board whose Gerbers are so obsolete I can’t find anyone to make the boards. I decided to learn how to layout boards myself. With Kicad and the online support available I am making good progress.
