Hi Chris and everybody else! I’m an old, retired engineering tech from Silicon Valley CA.
Ex: Intel Corporation, Apple Computer, Palm Computing, Xerox and a few other outfits you all would probably not recognize, like Tharas Systems and Tab Products. At Intel, I did quite a bit of reverse engineering of competitive graphics solutions, primarily gathering power and performance information. At Xerox (Versatec Division) in 1986, I designed their first synchronus state-machine powered DMA computer interface (For you other old farts, it was a Unibus device for the PDP-11 and VAX 11/780). It was half the size of the previous board and performed much faster. I’m currently working on some personal electronics.
