I have been in the electronics industry for some time, as a low level, embedded, hardware, firmware & software engineer/designer. I have had the good fortune to be involved in many industries and projects.

To be honest, I have never been enthusiastic about doing PCB designs, and would bump it off to someone else if I had the opportunity .

Most of my clients don’t have their own electronics department – they are focused on the mechanical, chemical or environmental aspects of their own industry - I just fill that gap.

I don’t have an alliance with any PCB design software. I use Protel, Altium, Eagle & Kicad. It’s usually my client that has an alliance – I just go with the flow…
