@MKnack Thanks for highlighting it I’ll work on that issue now. The reason the issue was closed automatically was that it was missing the full version information. In future please do add the version information available in Help -> About -> Copy Version Info.
Alternatively, you can report the bug through KiCad, by going to Help -> Report Bug and that will populate the bug report with all the necessary details.
@MKnack just to let you know I fixed the first part of the issue you reported in MR !751: now all symbols are loaded even if the symbol referenced by the part definition doesn’t exist. The fix should be available in the latest nightly windows (version r21908 or later).
I also fixed text sizes a bit for TTF fonts - the text looks a little better now after importing (just note when you edit the text it will revert to KiCad’s standard aspect ratio).
I’m still working on loading the fill state of symbols but that will take a bit longer as there is a bit of work to do.
Please do give it a try and let me know of any bugs you find (in particular any connectivity bugs when transferring the schematic to the PCB).
