Somehow this ended up on my PCB view. I have no idea what it is. I can’t select it, so I don’t know how to delete it. What is it?
TIA,

It certainly is a origin of something (grid, drill/place file origin, …).
If you set that origin to 0,0 the mark will disappear, I think.
The existing marks can depend on KiCad version. I have 7.0.11. Don’t know if in V8 there are some new origings or not, and don’t know what is your version.
A bit outdated but essentially correct; however, it doesn’t answer the question. It’s the Grid origin and as Piotr said, you can set it to 0,0 (for example from Edit → Grid Origin menu) and it disappears.
I’m on 8.0.0. There’s no Edit → Grid Origin menu item for me.
Thanks to all though. At least I know what it is. I still wish I knew how it came about. I’m just a little bit of a perfectionist.
I really wish KiCad had the thing where the help menu would let you search for menu items, but I don’t want to complain, because I know the answer is likely to be “Be the change you want to see in the open-source app.”

Update to 8.0.1 and you’ll see it.
Yup. That did it! Thanks.
