What are my options for auto routing?

It doesn’t seems to be a fake video, but i don’t have this option on my KiCAD installation.(Version 4.06 on Linux)

This was the KiCad 4.0.2 RC. This tool is still available, you only need to switch to Legacy Canvas (Hit F9) to use old, rusty and useless KiCad autorouter (Which should be deleted ASAP).

I agree with you that it is maybe totally useless for production, but as Sparky_Labs says, it is useful maybe as a quick component placement check.
In my opinion it is better to keep it until something more powerful is implemented. for example a native C++ port of Java FreeRouter to KICAD.

I think that rastnets are the better indicator here than waiting for first outputs from any autorouter.

Implementing FreeRouter as part of KiCad is good idea, but this needs some special agreement between Mr. Alfons Wirtz and KiCad Dev team - even if original Java code are released as GPL.
