Two sided footprints cause net problems when soldered only one side

Would this be fine to you? I think the one you proposed is a tad too generic and disregards the actual question.

I see them as probably very useful in the case of vias, in that case soldering might not be necessary if mechanical riveting is done well enough to guarantee good electrical contact with upper and lower pads/areas. Sure removing the eyelets might be a bit hard, but I don’t think this would be very frequent.
