Track width Kicad

Hello,

I’ve made a whole circuit and now I have to change the track width of all the tracks on my circuit. I wanted to know if anyone knew of a method of quickly modifying all the tracks with the same track width, because otherwise it’s going to take a really long time.

PCB Editor / Edit / Edit Track & Via Properties

If you make tracks wider, you will likely create a lot of DRC violations, and you’d have to solve those too.

thank you for your advice. However, when I enter the width I want (0.4 mm) in the ‘Track width’ box, it doesn’t change the width of the tracks. I don’t know if I need to do anything else afterwards.

I have never used that tool. I don’t know if at the right no checkbox is selected than all tracks are selected or no tracks are selected and from your answer I am not sure if you checked any checkbox or not.

Easier way to do it…

Without Using A Plugin

• Open the Side-Bar and Select the Track(s). Set Value…

• If Selecting multiple Tracks, the Side-Bar condenses leaving the Width entry field)

Using A Plugin (Preliminary/Example plugin)

• Selected Multiple Tracks, Highlighting and setting Witdth’s
