What is the version string for kicad? VRML export was never very good, but your models should show.
My suggestion is that you use the kicad development version by installing the âNightly Development Buildsâ in order to use the new 3D-Viewer.
That versions supports STEP (?) and WRL files. It handles better the 3D paths and will give you error information when it donât find the model. So you can better understand what is going wrong.
It will also allows you to produce nice renders of the board!
