V5.2.0 does not exist. It’s either V5.0.2 or V5.1.0 ( or an old V4… or a nightly).
I also noted that your schematic needed “resqueing” because you apparently use V4 lib’s in KiCad V5.

What I’m finding strange that these difficulties I did not have in version 5.0.2

The grid problem is in KiCad from at least V4 and probably all versions before that.
But you only encounter it when working with fine grids, and when changing grids. If you did not encounter it in another drawing it’s very likely because of different grid settings in those schematics and has nothing to do with the KiCad Version.

If you’ve designed custom schematic symbols with such grids you’re really out of luck. But all pins of your diodes and RJ-45 connectors seem to align nicely on a 50mill grid.
