I have a basic template that needs to be extended, made larger. How is the pcb outline edited.
Not much info to go on here. Do you have problems editing outlines in general or something specific to templates?

I agree with not much to go on… 
Looking at the “change the board outline” makes it pretty clear. I was looking for the tool to draw new lines and not thinking about stretching existing lines.
I need to review the tutorial from beginning to end before proceeding.
