Sure thing. I don’t know how this is more prevalent or reported. If anyone that has this issue stumbles on this thread, I encourage you to add details and/or make your voice known in the KiCad Gitlab issue.
I hope it’s a simple fix because I don’t want to press the 
every single time I’m placing a part.
