FWIW, while I do mostly design power circuits these days, I generally interface with and sometimes draw power from mostly digital boards. I can almost always count on finding 3.3 V and 1.8 V from the digital board, and 5 V if I am lucky (because most of my circuits need 5 V for the gate drive). I have not seen a logic board where a single 5 V supply was the main logic voltage bus in a decade or more.
I was using ST OmniFETs and according to datasheet to be sure I drive them correctly I needed 5V. Now I decided to use Diodes INTELLIFET (ZXMS6006D) and theoretically 3V3 is enough
