You mean the V5 and onward repo. ? Isn’t it already kicad-library ?
I thought we will only freeze it once v5 is rolled out. (Otherwise the problems well get even worse as time goes on.)
The new repo has many missing 3d models so this is really not an option i think.
I think they have simply been forgotten. Will merge them soon.
We already found out that the models have not been merged.
Give us a day or two to decide how we should proceed.

If you want you can use the models from the packages 3d repo in the meantime. I don’t know how many models that are in the old repo are missing from the new repo. (As said above the new repo has higher standards. We only accept models with nice material properties in wrl format for rendering and a step model for mcad export needs to exist as well.)

No worries Rene. I am only using the radial physical capacitors atm. No rush.

It seems oliver change his mind already. You just need to pull the merge from 10 minutes ago and you should have everything you need.
