Thank’s for help, but I uninstall V9.0 year ago ? (:)) and remove this file, I can’t waste time for this.

I tried to reproduce the problem, but my environment did not reach the same state as yours. In other words, I was able to open the project created in 8 with 9.0rc and save each one. Were you running two KiCADs at the same time? What were the results of the command prompt to check the permissions and free disk space?
Also, if you could reproduce the problem by creating the same state including the backups folder, we might be able to find something. Can you make it public?

Please change the double quotes, they seem to be different on this forum website.
For more information, run the command TASKLIST /? and check the syntax.

Just to let you know, is this an environment where OneDrive is installed? And is the network speed fast?
I don’t use OneDrive in my environment.
By the way, if you copy a project created in 8.0 to a location other than MyDocument, for example to a new folder called C:\KiCadTest\ and it’s successful, does that mean the behavior of OneDrive or something similar could be affecting it?

All is fine. But V8 work and v9 can’t create any files.

Is the output of echo %USERNAME% correct?
Do you see a long string of text instead of tbarw? tomek?

Are you in an environment where you previously did the following?

• You performed special tasks such as resetting your password.
• You created both a Microsoft account and a Windows local account.
• You switched between a Microsoft account and a Windows local account.
• You used a non-alphabeta character string when creating a user name.
  If you are in a special environment like the above, it would be a good idea to take a closer look at the behavior of file/folder ownership and process management in your OS rather than KiCad 8.0 or 9.0rc.

I think I can solve the problem if I can reproduce your environment, but I would appreciate any tips on how to create that environment.

Everything in the console output looks right to me.

The only explanation I could think of is an antivirus, or some other program messing with KiCad 9 somehow.

So if you have such programs, try disabling them or adding KiCad 9 to exception list.

If the result of the tasklist command contains the string estat-główna-poprawiona-8, it may be different from the project folder you checked with cacls.
If the result of echo %USERNAME% contains estat-główna-poprawiona-8, then that’s a special username.

My home directory is “tbarw” and user name is “tomek” and it’s always been like that - from what I remember. On the other hand V8 works so it can’t be a problem - unless it’s for V9?
