It is the first time I tried that via the label dialog. However, the newly defined net does not show up in the netclasses in the schematic setup.
What do I miss?
[EDIT] Or is it that I cannot define a new netclass in the dialog but only can select from existing netclasses. The dialog accepts a new netclass, nowever.

nothing (I believe). netclasses assigned with label or with the special netclass directive simple don’t show up in that netclass-dialog. I think we have currently two parallel netclass-systems. I personally try to use either the old (netclass dialog) or the new (graphic assignment with the labels) system in a schematic. I’m not sure which system is easier to use for real schematics, so I simply try both and will look which system I prefer in the future.
Fair enough. I currently use the old one but I feel I would like defining/assigning netclasses in the schematic more. Provided a new netclass can be defined in the label dialog and provided the netclasses are handed to pcbnew, color and all. It’s in the schematic that I think about currents, frequencies, slopes and stuff.
But then: it’s a journey…
