Imported graphics missing in 3D view

Ha ha I did the same . . .

That is curious. I wonder why it does show in the 3D viewer for you, while it does not for me (or others)

First time I made the mistake of importing it on the Edge.Cuts layer, and then it does show in the 3D viewer, but it also appears “filled”.

I edited the line thickness . . .

That’s not fair.

But because it’s now known it has to do with line thickness, and it is already reported on gitlab, it will probably be fixed in some way.

The bug report was closed so, apparently, its priority was decided. Moral: make sure the lines are big enough!

Thanks all of you for your input. It was valuable. Now I know that the logo was tiny.

and with thin lines

As it’s with is around 1 mm (or banana, or “unit”?) you can easily import it at any size by entering a scale factor.

I also just tried: PCB Editor / Edit / Edit Text and Graphics Properties to set the line width of your logo to 0.2mm and then it does show normally on the 3D viewer too:

So I agree it’s not a bug, and understand the issue got closed. I can see some merit in a feature for enforcing a minimum line width. Maybe a project wide setting in the board setup, or maybe as an option in the graphics import. But because setting the linewidth with the Text & Graphic Properties works quite well, such a feature is not very important.
