Import PADS pcb into KiCad pcbnew?

Hello, IIRC, KiCad had the ability to import a PADS ascii-format pcb file into pcbnew. Is this [still] possible?

in pcbnew Open File and select P-Cad

if you are in the dev branch use:
Import non kicad board file

Can PADS export that format?

that was the only P*** ascii-format pcb that kicad had/has the ability to import, so I thought Frayed_Rein was intending that, not really PADS…

I tried doing importing PADS *.pcb file in Win7 (Kicad 4.0.2) and I am getting this error:
Error loading board.
IO_ERROR:Unknown file type
from
C:/Jenkins/workspace/windows-kicad-msys2-stable/src/kicad-4.0.2/pcbnew/pcad2kicadpcb_plugin/s_expr_loader.cpp: LoadInputFile(): line 55

Any ideas?

that was the only P*** ascii-format pcb that kicad had/has the ability to import, so I thought Frayed_Rein was intending that, not really PADS…
