Sometimes one might think they can out-think the KiCad files in a text editor… and lose even more time.
That much has become clear by now, namely that it’s needed. I’m still curious why the manual way works in some cases and not in others; if someone is going to implement the feature, if only as a python script, it would be beneficial to have these cases and solutions collected. Here is one case. I would like to know what went wrong.
