I wish easier way to match differential pair track lengths

In general, it would help if a user could select the text in the info area at bottom of screen, and copy for instance lengths in the clipboard.

Better ways to work with that info will likely be introduced in 8.0 development cycle.

This is OneKiwiTech/kicad-length-matching, which appears to have not been updated to the latest 6.99 API (or rather, there’s a bug in the API).

I just tried KiCAD RF tools and if works in 6.99.

I can’t find RF Tools zip file. KiCad does not accept py files.

Extract it to somewhere like
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\KiCad\6.99\scripting\plugins\RF-tools-KiCAD

I got the Plug in. It shows only selected part of the track. “U” helped. It would also help if the length could be transferred to clipboard.

I’ll do a couple of videos to show some problem I got. But they require a bit of work to make.
