And don’t feel obligated to do it quickly when someone finds that what you’re describing is a bug

It is also common for bug reports to be posted on this user forum first. Sometimes it’s not even clear it’s a bug (such as i this thread). At other times people don’t have or want to create an account on gitlab, have trouble with English / translations, are more interested in fixing their own problem then “helping the KiCad project”, or a lot of other reasons.
I have created quite a few bug reports for issues that started as someone else’s topic on this user forum.

I can even confirm, with today’s nigtly 8.0rc2 it is working as expected.

I have installed last Testing - 7.0.10-120 and it works as previously (may be next day…).
V7 shortly will be history so not important.
