Hello all,
I am new to KiCad and am trying to hide a net while doing a layout. I use this feature quite frequently in Altium at work to hide the power nets until I am ready to route them. Is there a similar feature in KiCad?

Are you talking about hiding the ratsnest lines? There is an option to hide rastnests, then they will only be showing on the net you are currently routing.
OP means:
Turn on all rats nests
Turn off chosen rats nest
I agree its very handy. Drives me nuts that you can turn on as many individual rats nets as you like but you can’t turn any off.
How do you turn them on seperately?
Display Local Ratsnest button, in the right hand column.
Using BZR 5228 at the moment, don’t know if earlier version support it or not.
Can be flaky - It works when you click on Display Local Ratsnest, click on a device pad and it shows the net. When it works… great. When it stops, close KiCAD, restart…
This workaround that I just developed may help you…
Create zones on unused layers with the net that you want to hide. You can hide the visibility and fill the zone and the net should disappear. Works for me so far
