Generate negative Gerber file for drawings

If the translation got warped, please just drop my replies on that subject.

I looked it up in tree different dictionaries and it’s pretty close to what I wanted to say. I of course do not know how you interpreted it on your side.

And instead of responding to questions, you keep on going along the same line of behavior. Therefore you are now the 2nd user on this forum for which I modified my settings to:

Nothing personal, I just want to preserve my own sanity and stop wasting time on things like this.

Enjoy your time … Bye

At this point, I readily admit I have no idea of what the intended goal is. However, in a confused state of mind, perhaps what you may really want is a Void Space.

If true, what you want is similar to making a Mold-Cavity and is very, very easy to do…

The image below with Black traces/pads are so very thin (thin Cu) that it’s difficult to visually differentiate them so, I left them Black and they are Negative space inside the the Grey PCB. Didn’t want to waste time coloring stuff.

A clearer view of a Non-PCB is the last image showing a Gizmo embedded, and subtracted from surrounding (transparent) block along with Section view (not transparent). Thus, a Negative space inside what is referred to as a Mold-Base… It also includes Void space of Text…

ADDED: Totally forgot, your Post Title say’s “for drawings” - if a drawing of the empty-space is what you want, below shows a Drawing of empty PCB/Parts/etc space… (using a different PCB)…

Now, I am done with this topic…

I think OP’s manufacturer wants a mask of some kind which would be inverse of what kicad produces. Anyway i dont think we need to interpolate the info too much. OP just wants to use the gerber option for this.

But also i think the discussion has been done.

For what purpose do you want this?
Can’t Ki make the PCB files to produce boards for you?
