I get the same crash with 7.0.2 on Ubuntu 22.10
Is this an external plugin as it is packaged with KiCad?

It is built into the kicad itself and is not a third-party pcm plugin

Todays Windows 10 Testing does not cause an exception.
This is 7.0.2++ on the way to 7.0.3, so maybe already patched?
Thank you… Yesterday I revised the branch with requests for 7.0.3 and there was nothing similar there, it is not entirely clear what this problem is connected with, maybe just updating the module and everything will work

7.0.2 seems to have a bug. It looks like this has been fixed by a commit since 7.0.2 release as Testing does not throw the exception, at least on Windows 10
