Nevermind, I missed that fact that in EESCHEMA: Tools -> Assign Component Footprints is CVPCB embedded now. I was clicking on each and every part in the schematic and editing them directly before. Cheers! (Using BZR 6299)
While weâre on the subject, Why is it that the same information/settings are differently presented and accessed in EEschema vs the Symbol Editor?
EEschema (rclick symbol > edit > edit):
Symbol Editor (click 2 different buttons at top):
Hi All,
I opened the schematic in new version and do some changes say add some components. Generate netlist and went to CVPCB.
In CVPCB all previously assigned components are null.
This makes make me to assign footprints for all components from first. Is there is any solution for this.
The simple one is assigning footprint in schematic itself, but it doesnât ensure that all symbols are assigned as like CVPCB did in one old version.

Arun
