Study up on “zones” (also called “filled zones”). In other cultures these are called “copper pours”. Search this Forum; or look at the FAQ articles “How to create a power plane (using zones)” and “Tutorial: Introduction to PCB Design with KiCAD version 5.1”.

You may have been conditioned to think of zones only in the context of a “ground plane”, but their use is MUCH broader than that.
