You’ll probably have to ask the factory to panelise them using V-cuts because the individual boards will be too small.
What is V cuts? Any recommendations for PCB manufacture? We used to use MYRO PCB , but it was long time ago and don’t know if others …
Thanks
Is there a way to do a prot type board to make sure that it works. I don’t think it is a bit deal because it is a very straight forward board.
I have my gerber files ready. I don’t know if I need all the layers, but include most of them in the gerber
Just search for “V cut PCB” or “V score PCB” for plenty of explanations.
Sorry, can’t recommend particular fabs, but you can look at https://pcbshopper.com which compares prices from a selection of fabs. You can also go to their websites and upload your board to get a quote. A small run is very cheap these days.
It’s a simple board so there shouldn’t be problems even with a basic fab. You don’t need the Paste layers unless you want assembly or want to order a stencil.
First, congratulations for getting your first project this far. It’s quite normal your first handful of projects are a bit slow. As any EDA suite, KiCad has a lot of functions, and it takes some time to go through the learning curve and learn to use KiCad effectively.
Thank you for your detailed instruction. That helped me a lot. very encouraging! This is a really good place to get help. People are willing to share their thought and taking time to write comments and instructions.
Since the outside SOIC32 pin sequence (1-32) is different than the pin sequence of inside is QFN, like QFN pin29-32 corresponding to SOIC pin1-4.
How to mark pin number without marking them one by one?
thank you!
It doesn’t take that long editing the psds. I think you can specify the starting offset with the wizard next time.

Use the Renumber Pads
tool. Search for “Renumber Pads” in here: PCB Editor | 9.0 | English | Documentation | KiCad.
