Considerations on the procedure for using decoupling capacitors in KiCAD

I think it’s a good tool to warn if the decoupling capacitor is not close to VDD.

That isn’t a specific KiCad question or issue, that problem has to be solved for every ECad software out there.

Take this thread as a random example, how much KiCad specific stuff is in there ?
