bill of materials csv why doesn’t kicad 5 have this built in? a few github open releases installed allready would be easier.

I just don’t get why it comes with no functionality for bom csv export if their are foss options. ???

There should be a few bom scripts shipped with kicad. Read this FAQ article: How to create a bill of materials (BOM)?

OR why don’t they concentrate on plugin framework design before anything else so other people can give them plugin feature while they developing main feature? They only have 3D-Plugin right now. But they can do a framework allow plugin to access to any part of kicad program in C/C++. People can create plugin, and provide installation like Notepad++, Visual Studio, PyCharm, VIM etc…
