Autodesk kills the golden Eagle...?

This feature already exists in Kicad.
But if you want to pay for it, the guys at CERN will be delighted to accept a donation

Is there yet a way to permanently attach 'package' to 'symbol' (like Eagle allows in its 'part' or 'component'), or must we attach at every use (ugh, AWFUL)
