8.0.3-rc1 - cross does not follow cursor in certain cases

something unusual is happening to me during routing,
cross cursor gets stuck in a place and doesn’t follow the ‘real’ cursor, i think is related to net selection
but i haven’t understood exactly how to replicate the behaviour.

‘net selection/highlighting’ follows the position of the cursor
‘start routing’ and zoom follows the position of the cross

did someone notice something similar/related ?

Version: 8.0.3-rc1-202405260149~be71f776ce~ubuntu23.10.1, release build, Ubuntu Mate.
