I don’t like assumptions, especially when it can lead to faulty PCB’s ordered or BOM errors. And that I why I wrote earlier to make a checklist and make a habit of following it. standardize your workflow to minimize the chance of errors.
Maybe it’s what you didn’t say (or write).
Maybe it’s better repeated once too many times then not enough.
Maybe I’m just an idiot stating the obvious?
Thank you all Paul, Andy, Quick, Maui for all the comments. Yes, fully understand porting back and forth between the schema and layout. This is defintely on the checklist. no worries. Combining the pcbnew code and extracted data from the netlist XML code together with a cross check between them works fine. Guess this topic can be closed now.
