We will be doing an end-of-year recap on Dec 17th with the developers of The KiCad Project. We’ll discuss what happened in 2022 and looking ahead to 2023. There will also be a Q&A at the end, so please show up with some questions for the developers! You can choose to participate through YouTube or Facebook Live:

at 33.45 Roberto mentioned there is a built in crash-report, I imagine it’s this Sentry data collection implementation mentioned back in april:

how can I enable it?
Or use the dump to create a bug report on gitlab?
As sometimes it’s hard to reproduces bugs…

I do not see the “data collection” preferences in my menu as mentioned here

You are running Linux; we currently only use Sentry on Windows.

We plan to roll it out to macOS during the development of V8, but haven’t yet made plans to roll out on Linux.
