I noticed an old thread about using Flatcam for generating g-code for isolation routing given Gerbers generated by KiCad. I found this useful page: PC Board Isolation Routing - HobbyCNC
Though my gerbers were not generated in KiCad (sorry, I used Fritzing), the process worked well once I got used to it and I’ve made a number of single-sided boards successfully.
